Connector

The gloom closed in on his surrounding him, and he was sure he was going in the wrong direction. This paragraph reminds me when I was small. Usefully happen in mall or another big place is getting lost. But when I am lost I don't cry. Also when I am lost somehow I find the way out. Like one time  I was in a big mall in Malaysia  somehow I went to the counter and they use the speaker to call my parents.

Short Story 2- Questions

Questions:

1.How does the character of Tony change throughout the short story?

2. How does this change affect Roger?

3. What do you think Tony meant when he said,'' I guess you are thinking,'What goes around comes around"'?

4. Why do you think the author wrote this story? Whet message did the author want convey?

Answers:

1.  The character Tony changes in a good way e become respectful.

2. The change affects Roger in a good way, because he becomes friends with a person. Tony is the only high school friend that he has.

3. He probably meant to say that in the past he was giving Roger a hard time, and how Tony is having a bad time.

4. The author wanted to say that if you mean harm, harm will come to you, and the opposite. He wrote this story so he can say the same thing that Tony said,"What comes around, goes around". On the end it also had a message. When Roger helped Tony with his wheel chair he helped a person in need. Even do  Tony harmed him for a long time, Roger helped him. And that's the message. Whatever has one person done to you, you help that person in need of your help. Always help a person in need.

Short Story- Questions

Questions:

1. What does it mean being "Yourself "?

2. Is it the same thing being "Yourself" and being "Real" ?

Answers:

1. Being "Yourself"' is being "free'', that means that you do what you want and don't listen to no one, and to do what you fell like doing. Don't be shy.

2. It's not the same thing, because being " real " is making practical dissensions, and following the rules, and listening to everyone. Being " real " is being opposite than being " yourself"'.

Short story
My first question is "How is Squeaky's behavior of attitude different from that of the other girls?"
My answer was: Squeaky's behavior or attitude is different from the other girls is that she acts like a buy, for example her mother said that she should try what other girls do.

My second question is "how does each express her feeling towards others?"
My answer was that they hate each other for example, one of the girls said about Squeaky like a dog.

Illustrator

This scene takes place from chapter 12 to chapter 13. I choose this picture because I think it is very important in this book. This picture shows that Graybeard wants to help Tao to achieve his dreams. This picture also represent Tao and Graybeards teamwork and how they did it together and made a wonderful cave painting.
Discussion Director

1. What did Tao and Ram do the afternoon when they were in the mountains?
They were hunting ptarmigan.

2. Why did Tao want to change the direction when they were running away?
Because he tried to escape from the hunters.

3. Why did Tao throw himself between Ram and the flying spear?
Because he wanted to protect Ram.

4. Why was Tao so sure that Volt saw him?
Because Volt always asked to go back to the camp.

5. Why did Graybeard say that he cannot stay with the others?
Because  he wanted to help Tao and he wanted to let the wolf dog go.

boy of the painted cave
This time I was the connector and my connection was when he wanted to climb the tree for safety I would do the same thing because I am fast and love risk.I think that he did the right thing because he made himself safe but his father Volt saw him, but didn't want to put his kid in danger in the mean time Tao though that that was a trick to get him down.

Boy of the Painted Cave- Illustrator

This scene is on the start of chapter twelve, at the page 109. In this scene graybeard and Tao meet again, in a very long time.  I picket this scene because graybeard and Tao didn't see each other  in a long time, but they act like nothing happened. This scene is very happy scene.
